Middle School

Be together.

Whoever you are, wherever you're from, you are accepted here.

Every Wednesday night and Sunday morning, middle school students are invited to experience what is real.
Our vision is for students to develop a real faith by encountering a real God and growing in real relationships with peers and adults.  We know that together we can learn to come alive with Jesus, grow with Jesus, and change the world with Jesus.

Wednesday Nights

6:30pm - 8:00pm

When students walk in, they are be greeted by friendly volunteers and ushered into energy and fun.  The night starts with low-key games and time to hang out, and then we move into a large group game.  Once we settle down from game time, students get to learn how to come alive with Jesus as they dive into God’s word in a relevant way through our short teaching time.  Lastly, students will break out into small groups split by gender and grade where they will have space to grow with Jesus as they deepen relationships with God and each other.  It's a night no one should miss!

Sunday Mornings

10:00am -10:30am

Who doesn't like being welcomed by friendly faces and the smell of freshly made pancakes?! We begin Sunday mornings by playing games and spending time together, and then we join the church for worship in the FLC at 10:30pm

Middle school does it right throughout the year with lots of trips! We start off the school year with a fall retreat at Kalahari Water Park, then enjoy a winter experience at SpringHill, a summer mission trip where we help bring joy and Jesus back to Detroit, and lastly an end of summer trip where we get to relax, tube, and learn about Jesus! Throughout the year, students are invited to participate in retreats and outreach events to deepen their faith through experience and service.

"Where would I be without TSM? Probably in a ditch.
Okay, maybe not a ditch, but definitely somewhere less fun."

"If I had to choose between going to youth group or going to Cedar Point...
...I'd choose going to Cedar Point with my youth group"

High School

Grow together.

Whoever you are, wherever you're from, you are welcome here.

Through large group and small group settings, students are invited to experience God in real, relevant, and redeeming ways.  Our vision is for high schoolers to experience a real God and a real community as they develop an active faith.  Our mission is to come alive with Jesus, grow with Jesus, and change the world with Jesus.

Sunday Nights

7:00pm - 9:00pm

Students will walk into a place where they will be invited to come alive with Jesus.  The night starts with time to chill, hangout, and catch up with friends, then we we dive deep into God’s word in a way that’s relevant to students’ lives through a teaching time.  We end the night by learning to  reflect and connect with God in a time of amazing worship led by our Worship Leader.

Small Groups

Get Connected.
Go Deeper.

Every student is invited to grow with Jesus by joining a small group, which are split by grade and gender.  Small groups meet every other week for two hours.  In their groups, students grow in relationship with their peers, adult leaders, and with God as they enjoy time together and study Scripture.   As they learn to read, interpret, and apply God’s word to their lives, our hope is that God will reveal himself in mighty, life-transforming ways.  Students will also lift one another up in prayer and encouragement as they learn what it means to do life with God and each other.  Join a group today to encounter a real God and experience life together!
Please contact Lorraine for specific group details.

High school does it right throughout the year with lots of trips! We start off the school year with legendary Girls/Guys Retreats (separate), then enjoy a winter experience at SpringHill, a summer mission trip where we enter the local community of Magdalena, Guatemala and participate in the work the local organization is doing to spread Jesus and sustainable change for the community. We also serve locally in Detroit for a shorter trip spreading joy and Jesus to the streets of our Downtown. We have lots of summer activities that are always a good time, so make sure to check out how you or your student may get involved.
